Professor Herbert Zirima

Professor Herbert Zirima is a distinguished Educational Psychologist with an extensive academic and professional background, currently serving as the Vice Chairperson of the Allied Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe (AHPCZ). As the Deputy Dean  of the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Psychiatry at Great Zimbabwe University, Professor Zirima brings over 20 years of experience in wellness training, mental health support, and the development and instruction of psychology programs.

Mr. Tonderai Masara

Mr. Tonderai Masara, is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Counselling Psychologist (MSc) with over 6 years of hands-on experience in the mental health sector. Currently in the United Arab Emirates. He is the founder of Mental Balance Series magazine which advocates for mental wellness.He strongly believes we are all works-in-progress and it takes effort and dedication to grow and evolve in a positive direction. 

Mr. Wilfred Chinhanho

Wilfred Chinhanho is a Registered Counselling Psychologist (AHPCZ), and full-time Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Great Zimbabwe University (GZU). He holds a Master of Science Degree in Counselling Psychology from Great Zimbabwe University (GZU, 2016), and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Psychology from University of Zimbabwe (UZ, 2008). He is completing his MPhil. in Public Mental Health with Stellenbosch University (SU). 

Dr. McDonald Matika

Dr McDonald Matika is a lecturer and a leading consultant in industrial psychology. He currently teaches at the University of Zimbabwe and is an external examiner in local and regional universities. His main research interest is on mental health and wellness in the workplace. He is a proponent of Positive Psychology and actively pursues cross-cultural research focusing on enabling individuals reach their full potential through helping them better understand themselves and their latent potential. 

MR. Bothwell Matewe

Bothwell Matewe is a Zimbabwean scholar, mental health practitioner, and journalist who has written articles on numerous psychology topics such as, emotional intelligence, midlife crisis, and other social issues. He is affiliated with the Great Zimbabwe University as a Lecturer in the Psychology Department, he also doubles as a *Counseling Psychologist.* Bothwell Matewe has published several papers on emotional intelligence, father absence, personality development…etc. He also writes for NewsDay Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Independent, and other media outlets to which he has covered top hit stories. He is a prolific and versatile writer who has a keen interest in exploring different aspects of human behavior and society.

Ms. Sharon Benza

Sharon Benza is a skilled and passionate Counselling Psychologist registered with HCPC (UK) NZPB (New Zealand). Having worked with different populations in Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom, Sharon has experience in a variety of mental health settings. She is an accredited peer Reviewer for the Quality Network for Inpatient Working Age in Mental Health Services (QNWA). She brings a wealth of experience in both mental health and quality improvement.

Ms. Pure Mlambo

Pure Mlambo,  is a registered Counselling Psychologist (AHPCZ) and Clinical Psychologist (HPCNA). Pure has experience in diverse clinical settings and University teaching. Her work is collaborative, and dedicated to guiding clients of different age groups and background towards a lasting recovery using a range of therapeutic modalities.

Sheron Gomera

Sheron Gomera is a registered Counselling Psychologist who holds an Honors degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. As a member of both the American Psychological Association and the Zimbabwe Psychological Association (ZPA), she maintains active professional affiliations within the field. Gomera currently serves as the Resident Psychologist at King George VI Children’s Rehabilitation Centre, where she provides specialized psychological support for children with various rehabilitation needs. Additionally, she practices at Hope Wellness Centre, offering counselling services to a broader client population. Her dual clinical roles demonstrate her expertise in both pediatric rehabilitation psychology and general mental health counselling, making her a versatile practitioner dedicated to improving psychological wellbeing across diverse populations.

Prof Daniel Ndlovu

Prof. Daniel Ndhlovu

Prof. Daniel Ndhlovu is a Professor of Guidance and Counselling at the University of Zambia. He has written and published in international peer reviewed journals. He has co-authored four books and single authored one book currently used in schools, colleges and universities. He has so far supervised and examined more than 100 masters and PhD students. His areas of interests are Guidance and Counselling and Special Education, He has more than 36 years of teaching and administrative experience.
