Editorial Process of the Journal of Psychology & Counselling Practical Cases

The reviewing and editorial process for the Journal of Psychology & Counselling Practical Cases operates through three main pillars of cooperation.

Co-editors

Co-editors maintain the journal’s academic standing and scholarly quality, determining editorial policies with input from the Editorial Board. With the journal’s international scope, they aim to generate interest among diverse scholars globally. They work alongside a Managing Editor who handles copy editing, typesetting, and proof transmittal, while also assisting authors with language and formatting clarifications to maintain journal quality.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board provides strategic guidance on new topics, special editions, and journal direction. They offer feedback on published issues, suggest subject matter and potential authors, and actively endorse the journal within academic circles to encourage high-quality submissions.

Editorial Board

The Editorial Board, comprised of field experts selected by co-editors, reviews manuscripts, advises on policy and scope, identifies special issue topics, and attracts new contributors. Board member selection considers geographical representation, expertise alignment with journal scope, and affiliation with key research institutions.

External Reviewers

External Reviewers collaborate with editors to solicit, select, and develop outstanding content, ensuring quality, consistency, and research impact. The journal employs a blind peer-review process involving both Editorial Board Members and External Reviewers, who are selected based on their qualifications, independence, and experience to efficiently evaluate submitted manuscripts and maintain scholarly integrity.
